TOA's Report from CNU Florida Summit

This week at the CNU Florida Summit in Sarasota, Andres Duany presented a follow-up to the “New, New Urbanism” that he first introduced at the statewide meeting last year. Previously, he has spoken about the importance of Tactical Urbanism and Mike Lydon’s work for the “Next Gen” of New Urbanism. As an example of why the future of the movement must now be flexible and affordable in the face of the new normal, Duany has spoken of simplifying the planning profession as most of us know it, and going back to the basics of incremental urban growth. TOA Announces Rebranding Effort

TOA has announced plans to rebrand in 2014 in conjunction with our 25th anniversary. With continuous expansion of our services and geographic reach, TOA has a vision for continued growth and evolution. To that end, we have engaged Tampa-based branding firm Schifino Lee to develop a new logo, new branded messaging, a new website design, and new sales tools.

TOA Opens Seattle Office

Tindale-Oliver & Associates, Inc. (TOA) is pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Seattle, Washington, allowing us to bring our experience in providing implementable transit, public finance, and planning solutions to clients in the Northwest region.

TOA at the Baltimore Grand Prix

The Baltimore Grand Prix took place on August 30 – September 1. The Grand Prix was held in the center of Downtown Baltimore and affected the city’s light rail and bus systems. TOA had “Transit Ambassadors” stationed at transit stops throughout the city, assisting tourists and residents with any issues they may had due to the multiday rerouting of the Maryland Transit Agency’s transit infrastructure.
