City of Arcadia Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan | DeSoto County, FL

DeSoto County selected the TOA team to develop a bicycle and pedestrian master plan for the City of Arcadia. Arcadia is one of the oldest cities in the Heartland area of Central Florida and strives to maintain it’s historic rural character. A key element of the project was to address multimodal transportation needs in a highly context sensitive way.

Hillsborough County Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Study |Hillsborough County, FL
HC BSAP Tindale-Oliver & Associates, Inc. was retained by the Hillsborough County Traffic Services Division to perform a comprehensive countywide bicycle and pedestrian safety study and formulate a corresponding program to focus the County’s long-term efforts to combat bicycle and pedestrian crashes.

2035 Long Range Transportation Plan | Charlotte County, Florida
2035 LRTP Charlotte County Tindale-Oliver & Associates, Inc. completed the major technical components of the Charlotte County-Punta Gorda MPO Long Range Transportation Plan.

2035 Long Range Transportation Plan | Citrus County, FL
As part of the development of the multi-modal Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), workshops were held to solicit feedback from interested parties on the Needs and Corridor Development portions of the LRTP. The multi-modal LRTP will affect all residents of Citrus County, so it was important that the public be given the opportunity to contribute to the plan.

North Boulevard Corridor Design | University of Tampa, FL
North Boulevard is a city collector roadway which divides the campus of the University of Tampa. This results in a significant conflict between vehicles and crossing pedestrians. Previously, TOA assisted the University in the design and implementation of a low cost “road diet” conversion of the roadway from four lanes to two lanes.

2060 Transportation Vision Plan | Polk County, FL

In a response to regional visioning efforts such as My Region in the greater Orlando area, Polk County undertook the 2060 Transportation Vision Plan to clarify the opportunities to create vibrant economic centers that would provide a high quality of life within the County. This study will be used by the County and its municipalities to change their transportation and land use plans to be more sustainable.
