Steve offers more than 38 years of experience in planning, designing, and managing major transportation studies and public facility projects. His extensive background in city government includes serving as Director of Public Works for the City of Tampa, where he was responsible for all planning/engineering projects and the overall administration of the Public Works Department. His areas of expertise include impact fees, transportation planning, safety studies, long range planning, trip characteristic studies, traffic and parking studies, community development systems, and comprehensive plans.
His extensive municipal experience enables him to provide global guidance and quality control to the transportation engineering and planning projects in which TOA specializes for cities, counties, and transit systems throughout Florida. He also offers expertise in public facilities planning, capital budgeting, municipal finance, transportation planning and engineering, and project implementation.
Steve has a master's degree in Public Administration and Management and a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of South Florida and is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida. He is a member of the American Public Works Association, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Urban Traffic Engineers Council, and the American Planning Association. |
